Daniel Luzer, the writer who wrote the article “Is Alcohol Really to Blame for the Prevalence of Sexual Assault on College Campuses?” this article was published by Pacific Standard. Luzer argues that alcohol is not to blame for the rise of sexual assault but instead the real root of the problem lies with the unrestricted female and male interaction. He believes that if there were fewer opportunities for “cross-gender mingling” that there would be less sexual violence. On college campuses, sexual assault has become a recent development.
