I agree with you, the media is one of the major causes that sexism and racism are invading the minds of our children's. With a single touch on their phone and computers, kids are exposed to this huge horrible problem. I know that many kids are exposed to this behavior at home but many are not, but unfortunately, they are exposed on the street and social media.
