Tyler saw the deer, swerved a bit into the other lane and slammed on his brakes. I however did not see the deer and was not expecting him to slam on his brakes, so I went flying into the windshield. He pulled over to the side of the road while I sat in his front seat collecting the blood from my nose in my hand while trying not to get blood all over his interior. “Are you okay?” he asked. “Yeah I’m fine, but I can’t say the same for your windshield.” I responded while pointing to his windshield which had cracked from the impact of my head. Jarrod, not seeing what happened in his rear view called wondering where we were at. Tyler let him know what happened and we picked him up so he could drive my car back to my house because I felt light headed and didn’t want to drive it back to my house. Once we arrived at Jarrod’s Tyler inspected his windshield to see how much damage my head had caused. My parents weren’t too happy with my decision to not wear a seatbelt, they also thought it was necessary to go to the emergency room to make sure nothing was wrong. We arrived at the emergency room and after waiting to see a Doctor I was diagnosed with a concussion.
