Scholarship Essay: Hair Differences In High School
A great deal of stuff can change from when you enter high school as a freshman and until you become a senior. You could dye your hair purple or cut your hair really short. You could also grow up an enormous amount because you are taking on more responsibilities for instance; driving a car or working at a job. The few things that are different when I was a freshman and as a senior I was more active in sports and I lived and breathed Show Choir. I wasn’t busy my freshman year because I was having friends over every weekend. As a senior I have no time to do a lot of sports I still do Track & Field, but that's the only sport I do. I am so busy as a senior because I am applying to colleges, and I am working two nights a week. Not to mention I have to keep my grades up to receive scholarships for colleges.
Clothes Freshman year for me was my dress up year. I dressed up a lot more than my senior year; I just don’t care how I look. I would wear dresses and nice clothes. During my senior year I wear t-shirts and sweatpants or shorts. If I feel lazy and don’t want to straighten or curl my hair, I would just pull it back in a ponytail. One thing the same between freshman and senior year if I felt lazy I would wear my hair in a ponytail because I didn't have a boyfriend then and I don't have one now and I don’t have to show off for anyone.
There are many changes to a person from being a freshman in 2013 and a senior in 2016. The appearance can change from short hair to long hair. Their wardrobe can change from wearing dresses every day to wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, even the hobbies can change.
