Schindler's List and Life is Beautiful

The films Schindler’s List and Life is Beautiful both have aspects that can be comparable and contrasted. Both films are on Holocaust dramas and that took place. The films brings out the horror at the Nazi concentration camps. In addition, the films shows the dictatorship and evil of racism. What is more, both the films show heroism at overpowering despair. They show how the human spirit can struggle against any oppression. The Schindler’s List is on a Holocaust drama that involves a German business man. This businessman helped the Jews to escape from the death camps. The film pictures how a single person can help when others are faced with fearful evil. In addition, the film has some graphic violence, profanity, anti Christian, and nudity aspects. In the case of Life is Beautiful film, the drama is on the World War II. The film emphasizes on the power of love from the Jews perspective. This is shown from the life enduring character of the Jewish family in the concentration camp.

The films are communicating using the various cinematic elements. The background of the two movies is on Holocaust. This gives the similarity between the movies. Evem so, their plots are very different, and this is shown through the characters. Moreover, the atmosphere of the two movies is quite different from each other. The two films have different moods and stories, but, yet have the same setting. The films similarity is on the setting which is based on the highlight of history. The Holocaust, which is the significant event, is pictured by the German military. In addition, the films shows in different places, but, are on the same event. Furthermore, the films are done on the same period and have same historical background. The films were done around 1930s. This is shown by the different aspects in the two films like the people’s clothes and structures in the stage in the scenes of the films.
