Scary: A Narrative Fiction
Scary:
Its dark and so silent that I could hear a penny drop. However, there’s screeching every few minutes. I can feel a person staring at me but there isn’t anyone there. The lights flicker and I hear a woman scream down stairs. Echoing in the dead silent house in less than a minute. I feel this warmness rush through me and my heart rate has accelerated. My breathing is heavy and I am trying to quietly move down stairs. I feel my hand become saturated with something goopy. My eyes widen as there is a man with dark clothing and something covering his face. He has a knife with bright red fresh blood at the end of the stairs. “You are next,” his deep crisp voice states as he walks out the door. I am unable to move. I am shaking and my chest has this overwhelming pressure. I fall and go blank.
Happy:
My heart is filled with joy and there isn’t a moment a smile is knocked off my face. Friends and family surround me chattering and laughing as

I love the sound of birds and bunnies jumping around. The skies are a soft blue and the wind is blowing just enough for the perfect breeze. My face stuck in a book as I am escaping the real world. All my worries and stress are slowing disappearing. I finally feel calm and at peace as I continue to read. There is no worry or stress anymore.
Paradise to me:
I am in the mountains with the most beautiful nature ever created. The waterfalls our crystal clear. Many animals surround me as birds, fish, moose, and much more. You cannot hear anything beside the wonderful sounds of nature. There is no technology to cause any problems. I am with the people that I love the most and we all enjoy this wonder place. We all no longer have worries, stress, or pain and are always relaxed. As we might take a swim in the creek or lake. Sit around a fire and talk and laugh. We are just filled with joy and happiness and never upset. We couldn’t be anywhere more

Snow started to shower as if on a peaceful rainy night and I look for any opening, trying to escape this creature that was following me. I could make out a large building figure ahead and ran directly to it, exhorting my energy as I advanced through the shivers in my body and aching bloodstained legs. An old tainted church-like mansion appeared as the fog cleared and I forced my way up the frigid sleet hill and onto a rusty pavement beside the building. I leaned upon the 5-metre tall wooden door trying to hear any sound coming from inside the outsized building, trying to sense any civilisation as the sky slowly turned into a rich black shade. I knocked onto the polished door, trying to depict a reaction from the owner that might've lived in this secluded place. Lights started to rapidly appear above the door and forming a luminous loop around the entire mansion, whilst the door blew open with such force that I was knocked back onto my spine. I tried to scamper away on my knees as a spine-chilling sensation started to form from what was a supernatural…

My special place is the country in Bristow, Oklahoma. When I am in the country I hear the goats “baa-ing”, the stomping of their feet hitting the grass, the pigs snorting, rolling around in the mud, and the dog barking. I see my two children running around messing with the dog and running away from the daddy goat. My dad and grandpa are drinking beer and messing with a car or staring at each other. The baby goats are following their mother around everywhere. There is nothing but green grass and a bunch of energy from the animals. I smell goat poop, the pig’s nasty, natural smell they have and the fresh, beautiful, dirt road air all at the same time. I see green grass, a bunch of big, green trees, and pretty flowers bloomed. I walk behind the…

Dramatic Intro Flashing lights were blinding my vision, and emergency sirens were screaming in my ears, both making it hard to process the situation I was in. I looked around praying to find something familiar that could possibly give me guess as to what was happening, but was interrupted by sharp creaking of a metal door, which robbed my attention. I looked towards the direction the sound was coming from and was shocked to see the face of a man, I tried moving but couldn’t. Confused I asked him “what the he** is going on?”, but he didn't answer my question, instead he yelled to, what i'm assuming was another person, “he’s alive, but the door has him pinned”. Sadly he was right, because when I looked to my left I saw a metal rod lodged into…

I let my feet feel the carpeted stairs inch by inch. A found missing flyer was framed on the wall as I paced up and down the hallway my head was out of my mind or was it my mind was out of my head? Screaming. Screaming. Screaming. It never stopped! Where was it! I banged on the wall over, and over, and over, and over again. I ran to the closet door and opened it. There it was; the screaming. There she was; the girl. I couldn't see her, but I could feel the chill. A victim. I closed the door. My eyes crossed and rolled back. A shot of adrenaline shoots up me. The screams poor out of my mouth. I can't control it. I try to close my mouth, but I can't. I start walking down the stairs at a fast pace. Foaming at the mouth I try to get myself together but I can't. Why. Before I know it I'm picking up my gun and walking at an even faster pace out the door, but how. Something's pulling me, but nothing's there. I'm walking faster, and faster, and faster. Past the river, past the boat, into the water, to the shore, through more woods. Walking, and walking, and walking, and walking. I stop. My upper body seems to collapse, but my legs keep me stable. I look around as if I'm checking to make sure no ones there. I take the gun to my head I start to weep and call for help... But I'm already…

Whenever I have a stressful day and my head is full of thoughts and problems, I tend to think of my happiest place and most peaceful moment to remain calm and get the bad things out of my mind. They are not imaginary because I have actually been at that place and lived that one moment. It was the summer of 2011 and I was visiting my cousins in Switzerland. This one particular day, I woke up and I realized I was home alone so I made a cup of coffee and enjoyed dipping cookies in it while looking at the beautiful nature through the window. They had a cute old styled house that I absolutely loved, in the most picturesque place I have ever been. While looking outside I noticed there was a swing suspended from a tree by robes. I immediately ran to the swing and took my sandals off to feel the grass. It felt like a high quality carpet tickling my feet with its delicacy while I was stepping over it. I have never seen grass greener than that in my entire life. I was swinging and flashing through the air with my eyes closed knowing this is the most peaceful moment I had in a long time. It was only me and the nature. I could hear the water flowing down its stream as background music to the birds’ song and all this as a feast of nature under the sky that was light blue with white clouds that looked like cotton candy. I had a genuine smile while living this and I get one every time I rethink it. The emotions I had are still as strong to distract me from the daily problems that I might be going through.…
