3.3 -describe the actions to take in response to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused, harmed, (including self harm ) or bullied or maybe at the risk of harm, abuse or bullying?

there is many diffrent signs to spot a child or young person who has been abused, the childs behaviour may become from overly aggressive to overly passive, the child may rock from side to side or suck a thumb be fearless when approached by a person known to them. The child may be reluctace to go home also have high level of anxiety. If i beleve a child has been abused sexual the child may disclose there abuse directly or indirectly through drawing, paintings, play or even writing that describes abuse. The child will fear to be alone with a particular person, the child or young person may inply that he/she keeps secrets, also the child may be in pain or have swelling in the genital areas with redness. if i spotted this the actions i would take is i would raise my concerns with headteacher or someone higher authority to me to confirm my suspitions, if this is the case we would then seek relevant agency (social services) i would also get to the childs wave lengh to see if i can get some relevant information and to ensure that the child feels safe in my care and to resure the child and make sure i have listened to every word the child has said. In this case i would record relevnt information down about anything the child has raised and send it to the relevant agencys if i beleve i need to share it.

describe the principles and boundaries of confidentiality and when to share information?

You may share confidential information with others who are involved in the care or education or other professionls involved, if you beleve there is a risk or concerns you must report to head teacher or someone who has higher authority over you. Always write up notes and date them, if any accidents always put them in accident book.
