Ronald Reagan's Major Goal In Foreign Policy
Ronald Reagan was Born on February 6th 1911 in Tampico Illinois. Ronald was from the Irish descent. When he was little we went by the name “Dutch” because he didn't like the name his parents gave him. Ronald went on to college at Eureka College on a athletic scholarship. Ronald was the governor of california before he ran for president and he lost the first time he ran. Ronald Reagan started as a democrat then changed to a republican for many reasons. His wife was one of the reasons. Reagan only had one major goal in foreign policy. That was to try to stop the ussr from growing. Reagan introduced the Strategic Defense Initiative.
