The Nurse knows more about Juliet than her own mother. The Nurse repeatedly says Juliet has not yet had her fourteenth birthday but her mother cannot accept that fact. Juliet is so close to the Nurse she can tell her age down to the hour "but faith, I can tell her age unto an hour" but Juliet's mother says otherwise "she's not fourteen" (1.3.10-19).
