Road Rage: A Driver’s Nightmare
The act of extreme anger and often violence directed towards another driver on the road is road rage. Road rage leads to altercations, assaults, and collisions that result in injuries and possibly death. This act of disaster can be caused by reckless driving or anger issues that a driver might have. One thousand-two hundred people die each year because of careless driving, and the numbers are increasing. Road rage is a major problem in developed countries, it causes accidents, anger, fear, and danger to roadways every day. Road rage is caused by careless drivers who neglect the consequences. For example, a few weeks ago there was a driver on the freeway that was going over the speed limit and cutting people off. Some people drive fast on the roadways because of impatience. When people are impatient on the road, they want to get to their destination as soon as possible, so they choose to speed up.
