Response To Intervention Model
The referral process follows the Minneapolis Middle School (Anwatin) school in general is the Response to Intervention (RTI) model for assessment for behavior and academic interventions in the school.

Tier 1 – Is the general core instructions that all students receive.

Tier 2 – Is AFTER the core instructions have been differentiated and the student needs more supports. Tier 2 interventions happen 2-3 times a week.

Tier 3 – happens when AFTER a well-implemented Tier 2 intervention has already taken place. Students need more intensive interventions here. It is mostly one on one intervention.

There is enough data collected during the tiered interventions to support its success or failure. There is parent involvement and input in all
