Respect is important. Respect your elders always and never talk back to them. Stand up in the presence of the elderly, and show respect for the aged. Fear your God. For I am your Lord. A fierce and heartless nation that shows no respect for the old and no pity for the young. Its armies will be devoured their livestock and crops will perish, and they will be destroyed. Now the sons of Eli were scoundrels who had no respect for the lord. Like I said before respect is IMPORTANT!!! Sensible people control their temper; they earn respect by overlooking wrongs. A gracious woman gains respect, but ruthless men only gain wealth. For they turned away from following him. They have no respect for any of his ways. The highest officials of the city stood quietly, holding their tongues in respect. Respect is always good even for the highest officials. That means that a general has to have respect for the president, his soldiers under him and family members even. Always practice respect it can help you when you go to the white house.

“I speak to everyone in the same way, whether he is the garbage man or the president of the university.” ---Albert Einstein “Respect was invented to cover the empty place where love should be.” ---Leo Tolstoy “I am fond of pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals. ---Winston Churchill “Respect yourself and others will respect you.” --- Confucius “And I can fight only for something that I love, love only what I respect, and respect only what I at least know.” --- Adolf Hitler “Love is honesty. Love is a mutual respect for one another.” --- Simone Elkeles “I never said, ‘I want to be alone.’ I only said ‘I want to be let alone!’ --- Greta Garbo “I cannot conceive of a greater loss than the loss of one’s self-respect.” --- Mahatma Gandhi “I can be hurt, she said, only by people I respect.” --- Mary Balogh “Always treat people as ends in themselves, never as means to an end.” ---

Everybody deserves respect, no matter what they've done, although, I make it a priority to respect everybody. I’ve noticed that it comes full circle and sometimes there are times when adversity occurs and a person might not be respectful to you. Turn the other cheek, that is what I have told myself to do. Following respect is the responsibility that everybody carries with them. I can say that I’ve had a good upbringing with good leadership roles and support from my family.…

It is important that everyone in a learning group either workplace based or in a classroom setting are able to take part and contribute, through listening, speaking and actively participating. To achieve this there needs to be an ethos in both the workplace and the classroom which promotes inclusion and mutual respect amongst peers and with the tutor. This can be achieved by establishing effective ground rules at the start of a course. Tuckman (Francis and Gould (2013: 18)) 'The creating of 'norms', expectations or rules is a natural part of the development of the group. Learners need a sense of structure and will feel psychologically safer if they know what is expected of them'. Learners will have already come across institutional rules relating to zero tolerance of bullying, general health and safety, smoking use of mobile phone etc as part of the general induction programme. What we are forming is a contract/agreement more to do with attitudes and behaviour within the immediate teaching environment. This agreement will contribute towards the efficient and smooth running of the sessions, facilitate learning and create an atmosphere where all learners and the tutor have a level of respect for one another.…

Do on to others, as you would want them to do to you. I think this basic principle or saying is very powerful. If everybody abided by it the world would not have as many problems as it does now. For example people wouldn’t steal because they wouldn’t want their possessions to be stolen or robbed. People wouldn’t kill each other because they wouldn’t want to be killed themselves. This is a saying my parents always drilled into my head ever since I was a few years old and it stuck with me all these years. I try to respect everybody because I like to be respected back. This is the second trait I would like others to remember me…

Example 1: A good starting point is to respect others because God said to. For example, we read in the Bible that husbands and wives are to respect their spouse and the wife must respect her husband Ephesians 5:33. Husbands, in the same way are considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect 1 Peter 3:7. The same principle applies to other relationships. Peter wrote that we should show respect to everyone. You can respect your spouse, child, parent, boss or others because of their position. Acknowledge that others have weaknesses. Everyone is imperfect. Be careful not to let their failures erode your respect for their good qualities. Look for things that you can respect. You can find something to respect in anybody if you look hard enough. Respect others as children of God. I work in a retirement community and everyday I interact with residents, families, doctors and nurse’s and my bosses the administrator and executive director and co-workers. I find that by showing respect to every person I come in contact with not only serves God’s plan for me, but my plan for my…

Good management classroom skills are essential to the smooth and efficient running of any classroom. Additionally, tutor’s aim is to create a safe environment that promotes tolerance, respect and co-operation between tutor and learners (Gravell and Simpson, 2008). Hence, ground rules should be established at the beginning of the session as they represent boundaries, rights, responsibilities and protocols of the group (Vizard, 2007). Also, students are aware what they are expected, where the boundaries lie and what will happen if the step over them.…

"Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind." - Ralph Waldo Emerson. To me, this means that the only thing that keeps someone from reaching their potential is the strength of their mind. Emerson believed the weak minded were destined to fail unless they could train their mind. In life, the only person that you truly need to make happy is yourself. If you lose sight of who you really are, then you have nothing to live for. No one will be able to respect you if you cannot respect yourself. I agree with this quote for a few reasons. I am able to have a high level of respect for others who show their honesty and that belive in what they say. I am also a very honest person with high self respect. This makes me feel like a stronger person overall.…

A great example of treating people with respect is bullying. Bullying happens all the time at all times of the day. People bully people in school, on the internet, and even at home. Sometimes the bully has the motive to hurt people and break someone else down because they are hurting on the inside themselves. The way they express themselves is the wrong way to do it, but it happens. I remember in school, they always said that a bully becomes a bully when they, themselves had been bullied. It is a serious matter these days because people hurt themselves for being bullied. That goes back to my point where I said that it could impact someone life.…

What is respect? “Respect is a way of treating or thinking about something or someone. If you respect your teacher, you admire her and treat her well.” I respect my education, family, and the world. Without it there would be no justice system or a civilized society. This means respect is what grants us to work in somewhat of a peaceful environment.…

All over the world people have hungered for one thing Respect. Everyone wants respect, the poor, the rich, the strong, the frail, whole countries in fact; people will stop at nothing to be respected or rather honored. Honor and respect are like brothers, sharing many of the same qualities and morals for you give respect to those that deserve to be honored. Honor is purchased by the deeds we do, by being “trustworthy, loyal, helpful, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent”(scout law), we earn honor.…
