Only in America can a woman become so well-known. Oprah Winfrey is a strong woman who faced many problems while she was young and less fortunate. So quite a few people found her resilient to the things she faced. At the age of 9 Mrs. Winfrey was raped multiple times by her family member and friends (who her family members trusted) starting at the age of 9.
