At the Heart of the Grand Strand: Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach can be considered as the center of a long strip of scenic, uninterrupted coast called Grand Strand due to the number of people visiting the region annually. It should be no wonder why Myrtle Beach in South Carolina is a grand temptation, with so many activities for people of all ages to choose from.

Myrtle Beach is a part of the famed Grand Strand, which is a stretch of around 60 miles of uninterrupted beaches facing the Atlantic Ocean. Myrtle Beach is right off the Grand Strand’s center with famous promenades and landmarks pointing to its location. Below Myrtle Beach is the relatively less famous Huntington Beach and to the north are other beaches that comprise the Grand Strand.

The best time to visit Myrtle Beach would be during the summer, from the months of June to August. It is the best time to enjoy the beach and other outdoor activities the place has to offer.
