Reflection On Evidence Based Practice
The evidence-based practice has improved because of many nursing theories. It empowers the nurses to challenge their views. After learning so many theories behind the nursing path I intend to apply it to my personal philosophy. I will assist in everyone daily activities and dedicate time to each patient. Before exiting the door I will listen and look around in their environment to see if more can be done for their comfort. I have many ladders to climb but with patient and determination everything is possible. The more education I receive I will be able to provide improve patient outcomes.

    Evidence-based practices are extremely important to me. I spend the majority of my current job as a Loss Prevention Officer finding and exhausting all the evidence I can acquire. I feel that it’s important to find evidence to back up my reports. While conducting the Predisposition Report I would be tasked with interviewing the Juvenile, which would provide their history and their side of the story. However I feel that it’s important to use EBP to do my own research of the juvenile to find and exhaust all resources to find the truth.
