Reasons Why You Should Always Keep Learning
Reasons why you should always keep learning
A recent article about raymond mill in The Atlantic reported that when individuals learn new tasks, they strengthen the part of their brain used in learning the task. Even better, this process makes the neighboring areas of the brain more resilient as well. This means that learning can make what you already know stronger, too.
So, without further ado, here are five more reasons why you should always keep learning:
1. Keep in Touch With The World. If you don’t know the latest fashion, comedy and news trends, you’ll sound outdated and out-of-touch. By trying new things and learning new ideas, you’ll better be able to relate to those around you.
2. Find and Increase Your Pleasure. Learning isn’t necessarily a chore. If you’re interested in a hobby such as cooking, learning new recipes and cooking processes can be enjoyable. It can make you appreciate your hobby even more.
3. Look at the World with Fresh Eyes. Scientists believe that much of what is called creativity is simply the ability to apply skills learned in one setting to problems in another setting. If you’re always learning, this means that when you face a familiar problem, you may be able to come at it with an unorthodox solution, based on your new knowledge.
4. Keep Abreast of Technology. Computers become obsolete within a few years. If you’re not constantly learning new things about technology, you’re falling behind. Which means you’ll miss out on social, business and technological opportunities, simply because you didn’t keep up.
5. All the Greats are Doing It. Think of anyone, in any field, who is truly brilliant at what they do. They got where they are through constant self-improvement. Truly talented people are constantly learning and implementing new skills. It’s worth joining them in this passion.
There are plenty of fabulous reasons to keep learning new things, regardless of what they are. Forming new connections in your brain doesn’t have to be

A famous basketball player once stated, "In order to become better, you must push yourself to do the things you could not do yesterday." This quote supports many different aspects of life. Once one thing is mastered, you must keep going in order to grow and improve. In order to grow in intelligence, talent, and in life in general, you must go out of your comfort zone. For example, Kindergarten is the first big step a student takes to learning. In this grade, I began learning the alphabet and small numbers. Just six years later, I started putting letters and numbers together in basic algebra. If I had stopped learning after completing the alphabet, I would not have made in very far. Instead, I went beyond the what now seems like…

Technology has significantly changed my relationships within the market world. Technology is all around us in everything we do varying from banking, to getting coupons to our e-mails from previous stores we have shopped at, to getting our grades or even classes online. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is take a look at my smart phone. I check the weather application to see what I should wear. I glance at my news application to see what is going on around the world. I open my traffic application to see which route I should take to work or school that day. Of course, like many other people in the world, check my Facebook application. I am already tuned in to the technological world, all before I brush my teeth.…

In my opinion, being born in such a technical century is lucky. Initially, when I need to find information, I don’t have to go to libraries and look up piles of books in order to find my answers. Instead of going to libraries, I can take out my notebook; after that the only thing I have to do is Google my questions. Subsequently, I like reading novels, having the Internet makes it easier for me to buy books. When I ordered them online I get to know when is it available for me to pick them up. In addition, it saves up my time shopping in bookstores. Consequently, I can keep in touch with friends who are abroad by using social networking sites. There’s an old saying: You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Well, most of the time, whenever I’ve heard it, the one saying it has been an older person who’s trying to explain why they can’t, or rather, won’t learn something new. However, I learned a long time ago that you never stop learning, and it’s never too late to learn something new. You just have to want to learn. This lesson was taught to me by my great-grandmother, and, ironically, she taught it to me when I was very young.…
