Reading response#2 for finnie walsh

Reading response#2 Jay Ho I want to talk about Paul Woodward and Finnie Walsh in the middle of the book. They have some difference between them. They both are hockey fans since they are children. Although they both love hockey very much, but Finnie was better than Paul in the hockey. I think it is because Finnie has the talent of hockey. Even Paul was steadily improving. Finnie was born in a rich family. His father owns a mill. He had no need to worry about what he want since he was a kid. But Paul was born in a normal family, and he is the only boy in his family. After his father lose his arm in an accident. The only earnings from his father, it make Paul need to sell his hockey equipment back to the sport shop to support his family. It’s because their family have a new born child by this time. Finnie have the power to support Paul and he decide to do so. It makes the conflict between them. Also Finnie was a more quite person than Paul in the story. After Paul’s younger sister was born and his father accident, Finnie came to Paul’s home often than before. He more outgoing than he became the most valuable hockey player in his team. It brings Paul be more positive to his life. When Finnie kind of become one of the member of Paul’s family, Finnie make Paul’s family more interesting. Mostly, Finnie was a person who make others to change to be like him. He good at make himself to be popular. But Paul became the quite one in his community.
