My dream is to become a cardiovascular surgeon who performs research in order to give healthcare to those who do not have access to it. Being Hispanic has taught me that I can express my feelings through my culture. Being Hispanic means that my dreams are achievable, but only if I believe in myself and fight for what I deserve. Being Hispanic and participating in many activities that promote my culture has definitely shaped my individuality by allowing me to stand up for what I believe in and express myself without being apprehensive towards what others many say or think.
