During my 15 years working in the medical field, I've come across different career paths. However, one career path that has always appealed to me is radiology. This is a profession with enormous opportunities for advancement. A radiologic technologist main job is to obtain images of patient's numerous body parts. A x-ray tech can work in a hospital setting or an outpatient facility. They can specialized in a particular examination technique such as MRI. In my observation with a radiologic technologist, I able to witness how a chest x-ray can be done when a patient is able to walk to the machine.
