Qualitative and quantitative research about the Middle East and its many problems or any subjective matter encompasses the hypothesis. The hypothesis leads to a decision based on experience of the past and present state in the subject matter. A hypothesis eliminates prejudice, promotes transparency and dialogue, and requires verification through experimentation and data gathering (Friga & Chapas, 2008).
In the Middle East the many global issues such as the Palestine and Israel Gaza strip, Iraqi War, Arab Spring, Syria unrest, Iran’s nuclear ambition and the terrorist organizations throughout the Middle East have plagued the region for decades and have many variables in each of those issues that keeps it volatile as of today. There are concrete evidence of what are the problems of the Middle East in each issue mention; however, many foreign relation experts and politicians have differences of opinions about: 1) what need to be done; 2) how it needs to be done; 3) who should interfere in the process and 4) what sectarian communities of people are the root of the cause of each crisis. The author debates about whether human nature is often revolve around what is built in. He ask hypothetical question: Are people born to be aggressive? Is antipathy toward the out-group a part of human nature? Is willpower severely limited by biology? The journal explains what are mindsets in contrast to people’s lay beliefs, intelligence, personality and attributes. Mr. Dweck states: Other people hold a growth mindset (or an incremental theory). For example, they may believe that all people, no matter who they are, can become substantially more intelligent, say, through their effort and education, or that all people can take steps to develop their personality or moral character over time. The journal explains the Arab-Israeli-Palestinian feelings toward each other and the mindset they have toward each other’s faith, beliefs and race.
