Pros of being anonymous on the internet

There are many benefits of being anonymous on the Internet. Some people don’t realize why it is good to do so. In today’s modern world, if you are not anonymous, anyone can’t hack you or plan to follow you. So always be careful and stay anonymous!

There are many good reasons why anonymity is preferred by the most. Some people say that they feel safer when anonymous. Being in this mode, you can be able to post speeches or comments without any fear of being cyber bullied. At the same time, it encourages shy people to post comments or any other kind of writing. Being anonymous also helps in avoiding cyber bullying.

Anonymity is also useful in democracies and debates. In any democracy work, people can express themselves freely. An example would be like voting for someone to become president or a leader. Well this is in real life. Talking about Internet, an example would be a person is famous, might be having a pen name on his own website! This is because he wouldn’t want anyone to know his identity in real life. Anonymity is also used to protect any information related to the democracy.

Not all kind of anonymity is bad. People who criticize others’ work might not habituated being criticized about their own work. Using the advantage of being anonymous, people often bully others on the Internet. Like insulting them, or some might even be up to taking revenge against them.

After all, anonymity has its good and bad sides. Anonymity avoids flame wars between people who like to argue on the Internet. Some people use the advantage of being anonymous while some don’t. So remember to use this advantage the right way! So be careful and stay anonymous!
