Pros And Cons Of Tanning Bed
Tanning bed Tan vs. Natural Sun tan Tanning is something that almost every teenager, woman and occasionally some men do. There are a couple of different ways to tan; one way to tan is to use the tanning bed, which is the most well-liked way of tanning because it is quicker. The second way to tan is by natural sunlight. Either way the person chooses they are positive and negative points about both. No matter which way a person chooses to tan, there good points and bad points to consider in relation to appearance, health and cost.

There is two positive points for natural suntan. The first one is you receive vitamin D from the sun. Sunlight is the best and only natural source of vitamin D. Sunlight supplies the correct amount of vitamin D without any problem. Vitamin D from other sources causes health problems, because usually it is not the correct amount of vitamin D that the body requires. The second pro is natural suntan is less cancerous. It is proven that people who live in regions with more sunlight have been found to have a lower incidence of death from ovarian, breast, and colon cancer than those who live in places with less sunlight and use the tanning bed more often.

One is you acquire older looking skin over a long time period of using a tanning bed. From person experience, I know someone who is the same age as me who lays both in the bed and sun and her skin looks like leather and looks like she is in her thirty’s when in-fact she is just 20. The second negative point is it can also cause death, when cancer occurs it can be fatal. The third negative point is that you are more likely to for melanoma cancer. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, killing approximately 8,650 Americans in 2009, because people do not properly protect themselves from the UVA & UVB
