Say you bought a perfume that you absolutely fell in love with, but then you find out in order for it to be “certified” it had to be tested multiple times on animals. Would you still buy this perfume? The debate over animal research can be confusing unless one understands the very different goals of animal welfare organizations and animal rights groups. These mainstream goals encompass traditional concerns for the human treatment of animals.
