15.42 Median = 9.45 +9.91 / 20 = 9.53
Lp=(n+1)(P/100)
L25=(20+1)(25/100)
L25=5.25
L75=(20+1)(75/100)
L75=15.75
The 1st quartile is located between the 5th and the 6th value. The distance between 1st and 6th value is 0.40. Then we multiply 0.40(0.25) = 0.10. Finally we add 0.10 to the Q1 = 7.69
The 3rd quartile is located between the 15th and the 16th value. The distance between 15th and 16th is 0.49. The we multiply 0.49(0.75)=0.367. Finally we add 0.367 to the Q3 = 12.59

    Explaining the make up a data description one must calculate the mean, median and standard deviation. To determine the mean, also known as the arithmetic average, is found by adding the value of the data and diving by the total numbers of values. In this case of a Bottle company study with thirty different bottles. The mean is 15.2, which was able to be reach by calculating the value of 30 bottles that equal 457 ounces divide by 30 (457/30=15.2). The median is the halfway point in a data set. Before you can find this point, the data must be arranged in order. When the data set is ordered, it is called a data array. The median either will be a specific value in value in the data set or will fall between two values. In this case the value falls in the middle to 15.6. The Standard Deviation is the square root of the variance. The preceding computational procedure reveals several…

    Then, I run the simulations 100,000 times as the data have been stabilized at this point. In this case, one run of the run simulation means. Each run of this simulation means picking 30 values with replacement from the original sample, calculating the mean of the new sample and the record the mean on the chart. I get the observed mean is 46.04 and the observed median is 37.8. In this case, I just look at the mean of this data. Then, to estimate the 95% confidence interval for this problem, I simply select the range based on percentile and select the percentile range between 2.5 to 97.5. I got 36.22 for the 2.5 percentile and 56.5 for the 97.5. So, I can be 95% confident that the true mean of the population is between 36.22 and…
