Presidential Roles

I believe the powers and roles that are important of the president are commander in chief, chief diplomat, and chief legislator. Commander in chief is an important role because it gives the president power to control the military. Everything the president says and does is followed at home and in other countries. Chief legislator lets the president form public policy and this role allows him or her to insist Congress to pass laws that he or she believes in. Commander in Chief is an important role because the president can be called when we need him or her for service. I think it’s nice to be able to have the president’s decisions and opinions with the army, navy, and militia. Having congress involved is helpful because multiple people can decide whether or not to declare war. I feel relieved having other voices in the matter than to have
The president can be the leader and guide the U.S. foreign policy and also pass on the responsibilities to other delegates. I believe this is a great way to check foreign relationships by letting the president be the leader and letting other people way in and have more options. For chief diplomat, there is the U.S. Foreign Service Officer who is the representative of the president. The officer represents the United States interests and gives the president ideas for foreign issues. I think the communication between the U.S. Foreign Service Officer and the president is a strong system to share information. What helps for this role, is having other foreign officers going to other countries and observing their issues. They do this so the U.S. government is able to make policies for the citizens. They do this so U.S. citizens in the foreign country are protected and the citizens of the country can receive visas. I believe this is a wonderful role to have so the officers can keep track on other countries and make sure everything is
