There is no complete definition of what a President is. When the Constitution was written, the fathers kept things vague in hopes that Washington would build the presidency into something great as he went on. Every president we have ever had, has shaped the presidency into what is it today. Each one plays their little part, leaves their mark, and paves the way for those to come. Being the president is a very emotion based job. In the blink of an eye, they become one of the nation’s most loved celebrities. When someone who is the current president dies, the whole country weeps. If a past president passes, it does not seem to impact nearly as many people. The president is always in the spotlight, with the media watching his every move. If something goes wrong in the country, the president, typically, gets the blame automatically. It is always assumed that he has something to do with it. In the same way, when things are going incredibly well we assume he had something to do with it. Each president handles conflict in a different way. Unfortunately, there is no true way to compare two, simply because we only have one president at a time. We like to look at the things around them, as well as the things behind them. Those things and more make up their character, which will help guide them in their world view and style throughout the presidency. While we can make predictions based on ideas like character there is no true way to determine the way a president will do things if they are not the president, therefore we have to simply guess.
