Preschool Age Song Analysis
Preschool Age:
Ed Edd and Eddy Theme Song This might sound ridiculous but this song is the real reason behind my inspiration to dance. This was the one song that was exceptionaly long so the only thing I knew how to do was dance to the song. Dance here, dance there, dance everywhere. It was the one thing I enjoyed to do. Because of this, my mom joined me in dance class and I have won 3 medals in competivie dancing since then. If they never invited a theme song this long, I might have never discovered the joy to dancing.
Alphabet Song This song is one of the first songs that I learned. I do not know exactly why, but everytime I hear this song, I can picture my preschool teacher. I still sing this song everytime I have to look something up

Ever since I was born, both my parents always woke me up exactly at midnight before my birthday. It sort of became a habit for me to pretend to be asleep and try to act suprised when they woke me up. I thought that I was too old for this. It was the day before my 11th birthday and I had the worst day ever. I stared at the clock until it was 12 and my parents haven’t even entered the room yet. They were always on time and incertatnity started creeping up on me. By the time my parents entered the room, I was in tears and looked like a pile of mess. I leaned that this act could be childish but it meant a lot to me.
Spongebob Squarepants Theme Song My favortite time in elementary school was coming home, throwing my bag across the room and turning on the TV. My brother and I were almost the same age so we would come home from school at the same time. Every day would be a broken record of me and him fighting over the remote. He always wanted to watch power rangers and I wanted to watch Scooby Doo. Sadly, they both aired at the same time. While fighting over the remote, we accidently switched on nickelodeon. We discovered the amazing world of Spongebob. After that, I do not think we ever fought for the TV. This was finally something we had in

Most of my friends will all graduate high school at 17, which is young. None of us had the time to get a part time job. As a result of this we never had the money to go to a lot of places but it worked out in the end, we always knew how to have fun. I would not describe my friends as extremely intelligent when it comes to street thinking. Which shows how dumb they would be if they were ever left on a deserted island. One thing stands out in this song, it is when he says we still have love to give. Although, my friends and I had fights, arguments and conflicts, we always stood up to each other. They taught me what true love is and how I should be treated.
Best Friends by Sofi Tukker It was 3 in the morning during the summer vacation and all I could do was think about what my best friend was doing in India. So, I decided to face time her and that was the best desision I made. We talked for hours and hours and when I finally ended the call, it was 8 in the morning. Ever since that night, I turned my entire sleep schedule around so that I could do that everynight. I basically turned nocturnal until she came back. This song perfectly describes how we would do anything for each other and honeslty we were made for each other.

It was a crisp spring day the birds were chirping and the bugs were buzzing and my brother and I, at the age of 10, were playing around in the backyard of our house. All we were doing was just playing around in the backyard having a fun time being normal children as always. Then I came up with this perfect idea to play hockey because since we all love hockey. So we wouldn't work garage I got a plastic baseball bat and my brother got a wooden baseball bat plus a whiffle ball.…

In contrast with the first few pieces, this was more traditional in that a very pleasant and soothing ballet piece. But the interesting part about this piece is that the song isn’t a typical music you would do a ballet dance to. The music tells a story while the dancer is creating movements that complement the music. Although the dance itself was very powerful and unique, the music did not always match the movements. There were some point where the song sped up and so did the dancers but others points where it was not sync at all. But, that the thing about dance, it doesn’t necessarily have to go with a certain beat or…

"Me used to be angry young man/Me hiding me head in the sand/You gave me the word/I finally heard/I'm doing the best that I can/I've got to admit it's getting better". It makes me cherish every dull and special memory me and my family ever made when going on the 9 hour drive. My love for my family never dies and this song helps me realize this. Los Bukis was a mexican band from the state of michoacan founded by two cousins. My parents have taught me the value of family and throughout these year I learned to respect it. This always puts me into a happy mood and to be grateful with my family, because those are the only people I have for life. When this song comes into rotation,my whole family starts singing along. This song was released in 1984 and falls under the music genre of…

I must have been no more than two when I decided that I could help mom. We lived in a three room apartment and from my room you had to go across the living room, down a short hallway and you were in the kitchen. Well mom knew that when dad was away at work the apartment was very still and quiet so as she worked in the kitchen she would check the clock on the wall and keep one ear out for me. Well she knew that if there was silence for a whole fifteen minutes then I had found something to really occupy myself with. The only question was what could a two year old have found of real interest to do? So mom would head for my room. There I was busy helping her rearrange my dresser drawers. Sitting in a pile of clothing…

    Song Representation

The song I chose to represent Creon is Pray by Sunny Hill. The song pray fits Creon because in several lines of lyrics fit regret and guilt of what Creon had done. A couple of the lines from the song related to Creon asking for Tiresias help but then not liking the answer, for example "Someone told me to pray to dream, that it will come true no matter what it is. Tell me everything- look at me and tell me, tell me to please stop." Inside Creon knew Tiresias was right telling him that punishing Antigone was the wrong thing to do, but Creon was to late to stop and realize his mistakes. Just like in the lyrics, Creon wants to know the prediction but also does not want to know in case he made a mistake. Other lyrics in this song represent Creon at the end of the play. "The sighs sound cruel and harsh. but I can't hear anything- no sound of salvation, I pray and I cry out for someone to save me. It gets worse and worse the more I grieve for you, cry for me and I'm sorry." These lyrics represent Creon after both his wife and son kill themselves. They describe how guilty and heartbroken he is about their deaths and how it will only get worse with time.…

    I Hope You Dance

I have a very deep understanding of this song because “I hope you dance” has helped me through some extremely difficult times. I was homeless at the age of sixteen and ready to give up on the world when I first heard this song playing over the radio. With the help of Sillers words I was able to find the inspiration inside myself and keep going to school even if it meant sacrificing a day of pay from missing work. I knew that although things would be extremely difficult to attempt to be able to work enough hours to get my own place and attend high school on a regular basis, but with the help of her words I found the motivation within myself to give it my all. After three months I had saved enough money for the deposit and first month’s rent and my grades we’re decent enough for me to graduate on time with the rest of my peer’s. Now that I am more stable things have become less difficult, but whenever I am having a hard…

Lieder ohne Worte (Song without Words) is written by the Romantic composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. It is a collection of forty-eight short lyrical piano pieces of markedly song-like character that he wrote at various periods of his life between 1809 and 1847. They are well suited to the study of musical form because of their artistic value. Op. 19b, No. 1 Andante con moto in E major was written in 1830 and is the first in the collection. The piece is in the key of E major and modulates from E to B to G major.…

The song “Firework” by: Katy Perry has a lot of symbolism. With her beautiful voice, and to her amazing lyrics, people can really relate to what she is saying. From her lyrics in “Firework” I was able to pull out three lyrics that I think have the most symbolism. “Do you ever feel like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind wanting to start again?”, “Cause baby you’re a firework, come and let your colors burst”, and “You don’t have to feel like a wasted space, you’re original, cannot be replaced” are the three lyrics that stood out to me the most with the most symbolism.…

In The Song of Songs, the Shulamite and her lover are everything but what society conforms to. In their Hebrew society there are rules and restrictions pertaining to sexual relations and who is allowed to marry who. These rules are stated in the book of Deuteronomy, and if the citizens do not abide by the laws written in the book, the punishments were harsh and brutal. However, the Shulamite and her lover seemed to be living in their own world where they could not care less about what society thought of them. In this poem, The Shulamite and her lover break many laws, and in most cases, desire seems to be considered a higher law to them than anything written in Deuteronomy.…

    We Learn From Our Mistakes

Finally, the day came. I was really excited. But as soon as my parents got into the picture, the excitement changed into irritation and anger. I had always been a very overprotective child of my parents, which really bothered me a lot because most of the time I did not get to do things that other teenagers did. So, when they got to know about our plans for the evening, they really objected it. They kept on saying that it was not safe to go out late night especially for girls and it could get really dangerous and we could get into trouble. They were trying their best to stop me from going out but at that time, I did not listen to any thing they had to say. The reason for it was that I had enough of the restrictions that were made on me. I was tired of being overprotected. I wanted to do what I felt like doing and not what my parents told me to do. Besides it was New Years Eve and it was not like I was the only person who was going to be partying out, everybody party's out on New Years Eve. Nevertheless, after listening to the fact that I will be grounded for a month, I banged the door and left my…
