Prejudice In To Kill A Mockingbird

Introduction-In this book there is a lot of prejudice in this Maycomb.In this story there were maybe some but not alot of racisism.People in this book didnt really take it to serious as when slavery was actually developing.In this book a girl named Scout had a dad named Atticus he was a loyor, and in this story Scout’s dad was defending a negro in this story. So as she went to school she would get made fun of, or bullied for her dad defending a negro.In this story also Mayella Ewell had a court case with Tom Robinson, Tom was a African-American man, Mayella was a White women who was the darder of Mr.Ewell.Mayella and Tom had a court case of rape, because Mayella said that supposedly Tom raped and beat her up.During the court case though, Tom
So as she was starting to get it, she started to see that not a lot of people liked African-Americans at all. So as the case was beginning to end a little bit before it ended, She was lying about the whole thing, and that people were disappointed because they came here to disagree with Tom, but it wasn't him!. So as she continued, Judge Taylor kept asking and so as Atticus asking the same question to make sure she wasn’t lying about what she talking about, and what had happened.Here’s a clue though, before this whole case started, when the person says “ put your hand on the bible to make sure your telling the truth and nothing but the truth”, she barely put her hand on the bible so as they were looking they realized she wasn’t telling the truth.So they could tell in the story that, lots of white people were going with racism
