While the industrial revolution had both positive and negative effects on society and the economy, the Negative effects outweighed the Positive. Negative effects happened during the Industrial revolution the environmental issues was the cause of many problems. Large amounts of carbon dioxide was released in atmosphere the cause was smoke stacks of factories. The factories was the cause of tons of pollution which spread environment. Cities could not support this many people looking for work. Working conditions were bad mainly for the women and children they work long and dangerous hours every day.
