Police Brutality Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders believes that minorities should not be terrorized and feel unsafe in America. He claims it as an embarrassment in the twenty-first century to see these types of hate crimes. Many communities don’t trust police officers, and it’s unacceptable to see the people sworn to protect us are the perpetrators.

Bernie suggests some ways to help stop police brutality is to have higher requirements for who can have certain weapons. You should have to work your way up, and get the privilege to own guns. Bernie also talks about having more diversity in the police force which he believes would help people of color in smaller communities. Requiring all police officers on their shifts to wear full body camera suits, so they can be held accountable
