Pneumatic Bench Vice
Working:-
First of all air is compressed to the air cylinder with help of compressor then air is filled in pneumatic cylinder through hoses by controlling pressure controller. when air is filled in the pneumatic cylinder then piston is moved BDC to TDC moveable jaws of vice is tight the workpiece. when we release the air then piston are moves TDC to BDC moveable jaws return back and unhold the workpiece

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

 The present invention is to provide a high speed vise with a locker mechanism to provide a main piston rods for the movable jaw at the reactive side, i.e., at the movable jaw inside lock down jaw mechanism in order to eliminate upward raising of a working piece which may adversely affect precision of machining.

Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

(a) Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a pneumatic quick vise, particularly a bench vise operated by compressed air and incorporated with a booster mechanism to provide high clamping, high productivity force with low trouble possibility.

(b) Description of the Prior Art
Conventionally a PISTON rod is used to drive a movable jaw in a the conventional vise to displace the movable jaw for clamping purpose. As the clamping force so achieved is limited, an hydraulic vise was developed to provide a higher clamping force. However, displacement is slow in both the conventional manual and hydraulic vises, and neither of them can satisfy the requirement of automatic and high efficient operation today. Moreover, oil leakage may occur at the hydraulic vise, it is impossible to replenish hydraulic oil for closed type cylinder types. In addition, a working piece tends to raise up in the conventional vise for the pivot of its movable jaw is at the same point for application of force, and consequently machining accuracy is affected, it is not suitable for automatic process requiring high efficiency and high precision.

Dissection was carried down beneath the major pectoralis muscle and a pocket created deep to this. This extended medially and up toward the clavicle. Bleeding was controlled using cautery. A pocket was created large enough to contain the internal pulse generator. Then a tunneler was used to tunnel the leads from the neck down to the pocket over the clavicle on the left. These leads were connected to the generator. The generator was tucked into this pocket and closure begun.…

Modern aircraft controls and the braking systems use hydraulic pressure as a means of control. This is because the hydraulic system uses fluid, and hydraulic fluid cannot be compressed. Pneumatic systems which use a gas instead of a fluid however can be compressed and this means that the hydraulic system is more effective in it’s function. Because it uses fluid, the effect of the hydraulic system is therefore more precise and can work to create much higher forces – which may be necessary for modern aircraft.…

A useful feature your drill press might have is a XY table. Normally when you are working on a part, you need to be sure the piece is placed on the table in an exact location before you clamp it down. This is often difficult and takes several tried before you get it right. With an XY table, since the entire table is adjustable, you can clamp down the piece anywhere and then move the table into position. It is called an XY table because there are two wheels, on which moves it forward and backwards, and another…

The jigs and fixtures are the economical ways to produce a component in mass. So jigs and fixtures are used and serve as one of the most important facility of mass production system. These are special work holding and tool guiding device. Quality of the performance of a process largely influenced by the quality of jigs and fixtures used for this purpose. What makes a fixture unique is that each one is built to fit a particular part or shape. The main purpose of a fixture is to locate and in the cases hold a workpiece during an operation. A jig differs from a fixture in the sense that it guides the tool to its correct position or towards its correct movement during an operation in addition to locating and supporting the workpiece. An example of jig is when a key is duplicated, the original key is used as base for the path reader which guides the movement of tool to make its duplicate key. The path reader of a CWC machine here works as a jig and the original is called template. Sometimes the template and jig both are the name of same part of a manufacturing system.…
