physics notes of chapter 7 for class 11th
Say I call you a fool! Have you become a fool? Maybe! It is up to you. Let anyone call you a fool, ugly, dumb, smart and all the other adjectives like these. There would be a long list. But one person cannot be all of these personalities. In short, you are actually what think, what you feel and how you react with other’s words. If a silent calm person can control his willpower and is determined, would remain the same even if any person in the world tries to distract him by various words. Even a normal person can possess this power. No words can hurt him until he accepts them. Accepting a thing means agreeing to the fact. And what you agree and think is the one you are. Take an example of a brilliant man. A notorious man tries to insult him by saying every bad word. But he won’t be affected as he would not accept those words. Now if the same person accepts these words, it would be certain that he would become a coward, dull and ugly. How does this work? If you ask me, I would just call it ‘believing’ and it works on the principle ‘Believe in Yourself’. If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you don’t If you like to win but think you can’t, it’s almost a cinch you won’t If you think, you’ll lose, you are lost. It’s all in a state of mind. Life’s battle, don’t always go to the stranger or faster men.
But sooner or later, the man who wins is the one who thinks he can.

Hope is an important factor. If one loses hope, everything is finished. You are lost in your life. Even a small single spark in the forest can make a forest fire. In the same way, by a little hope left, one can win the battle. ‘Mind’ is a unique part of a body. Our body follows the order by mind. And mind works on what you think. So, let anyone call you a fool, donkey, or any of the words you don’t like but you can’t become it

“It is one of the commonest of mistakes to consider that the limit of our power of perception is also the limit of all there is to perceive.”(Leadbeater) Many people believe the way something is perceived, is always the way that it appears to be. In reality, there might be more to a person he is willing to show. If we assume that the way someone or something is seen is always as it appears to be, we would be lying to ourselves. A surplus of people are not exactly how they are seen to be. We should not judge someone too harshly as we may not have all of the facts or details of what is really happening to a person. Perceptions can override our abilities to correctly judge our peers and even ourselves, which can be very impactful.…

What is winning worth if you had to loose yourself to win? I dont think that winning is worth betraying myself, there are two types of wins; winning to yourself and winning to somebody or something else, if you take a stand you can win both of them, otherwise you can only win one of them. For example, in Beowulf's story, when Beowulf was loosing in his fight with the dragon, Wiglaf didn't think they could win but he took a stand, stayed loyal to Beowulf and fought the dragon when the other men wouldn't, he won against the dragon and to himself. When you take a stand, you hold on to your believes or your loyalty. You become a trustworthy person.…

“Never give up, and be confident in what you do. There may be tough times, but the difficulties which gave you face will make you more determined to achieve your objectives and to win against all odds.” This was what women’s Brazilian soccer star Marta once advised. Never giving up may sound like a goal that is impossible to reach in reality. Although that may be true, in literature there are characters who exhibit it ideally. For instance, Joan Bauer’s short story “A Letter from the Fringe” introduces a figure who showcases these traits. On a somber day, Dana, the protagonist, a high school student at Bronley High was tormented by bullies alongside her friend Sally for being overweight. Although, it seemed as if her heart had been torn out and thrown to the side, she was capable of forcing the two tyrants to flee. Afterwards, she insisted that they had no right to…

Everyone has their own feelings, emotions, and opinions Knowing how to respond is what counts. As we get older we’ll see everyone has their own opinions. Whether good or bad, it’s theirs. Lucky for me, I learned the hard way. I used to be one who was a quiet nerd, but when I developed a voice to speak it was good and bad. It helped me move, make friends, see what’s real and how to cancel out the ones bad for me. Of course I’m still learning now, but life's a learning experience. I can say I am a lot more understanding when it comes to determining the difference in personalities though. Not everyone is the same. Everyone feels, sees, and hears things differently.…

Never giving up in tough situations can really bring you far. If you persevere. If you think it through. If you know what might happen if you don’t continue on with what you are doing. As a matter of fact, I was put in a few situations where I was about to give up, but I didn’t because I thought it through and figured out what I could accomplish if I continued. For example, when I was hunting.…

The philosopher Confucius once said, “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” The determination and resilience built due to past failures only makes the eventual victory sweeter. Rather than constantly winning and never learning from other people’s success, it is better to have experienced failure and have realized your own flaws. Other than winning, competitions are also about self discovery, self improvement and personal bests. In the long run, no one will…
