Persuasive Speech On Dehydration
You need to stay as hydrated as possible. You are probably getting nauseous from dehydration, which is exacerbated by the heat. Headache and nausea are common symptoms of dehydration. They are best identified by the way that movement seems to aggravate them and make the pain worse. Take breaks from the sun, and apply SPF 30 every half hour. Wear sunglasses as well. Avoid using milk, drinks with a lot of sugar, carbonated drinks, coffee, or fruit juices when treating dehydration, because these drinks can induce diarrhea or vomiting. I wouldn’t rely on herbal medicine instead get yourself checked in nearby local

Today, we enjoy a greater modicum of freedom that some of our ancestors could've only dreamed of. However, as we all know, freedom is, quite ironically, not free. Our ancestors all had to escape oppression, whether it be from a tyrannous ruler or a society that demeaned them to nothing because of the color of their skin or their gender. America, the land of opportunity, was a land built by the labours of our forefathers. These men and women fought so valiantly not only to ensure their freedom, but also the freedom of the future generations ahead of them. Even today, although we may not realize it, when we fight for a cause that we are dedicated to, we are not only cementing our futures, but the futures of those ahead of us. It is a quote from…

Teen drinking it's been around hmmm... forever? A handful of teens gather around in some kids basement who's parents don't truly love them and drink that devil sauce. I was scrolling through the Reddits, and came across this article, "Alcohol use, binge drinking continues to fall among underage, reports finds". I honestly didn't believe it, I've only remember hearing bad stuff about my generation. Like how we're more lazier than the past generations, higher pregnancy among teens, not as capable as others. BUT look at us now! We don't love the sauce as much as you guys(past generations)!…

The best way to prevent it is getting the flu vaccinations. You should never take risks for infections. The most common reasons people don’t get the vaccinations are because they think they are totally healthy, they think that they never got the flu so they won’t ever get it, they are tough, the flu shot made them sick, and last but not least, the vaccinations aren’t covered by their insurance. If you are tough, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t care for the people around you. Studies have shown that you cannot get the flu from the vaccination itself. Since influenza is a worldwide…

We have all heard the terms boozing, drinking to get drunk, sloshed, tanked, tipsy, tooted, and hammered. But have you ever really thought about what you were saying when you used these terms. You were saying that all that you did the night before was binge drink. Binge drinking on college campuses is something that has grown to an all time high but who’s to blame? All too often we have heard the horror stories of how kids are getting behind the wheel of a car after a night of binge drinking, and end up killing everyone involved, but themselves. Binge drinking must be stopped, but it’s easier said than done. College administrators shouldn’t be held 100 percent accountable for students actions, the idea for colleges to crack down on binge drinking…

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-threatening events such as the military combat, natural disasters, terrorism incidents, or any major tragedy. This is common in the life of veterans and is the leading cause of suicide among veterans. A VA patient who survived in Baghdad shares his experience with PTSD and explains how he knew he had this disability. Many veterans speak out about this issue and describe their continuous anger, alcohol addiction, and constantly wanted to fight. They usually feel very isolated and distant from their loved ones. One patient states, “PTSD involves rocketing into extreme states of stress re-activity; in the form of terror, rage, and uncontrollable impulses, and plunging into equally extreme states of being shut-down—exhaustion, emotional numbing, despair, and dissociation”. PTSD is about having fear and anxiety, allowing veterans to rage with anger and different emotion. There are many factors to PTSD, which affects others in different ways; or example, using video games to keep them occupied, spending money due to the lack of impulse control because of changes in their brain, and even not obtaining another job.…

Attention Getter: I would like to start my presentation off by telling you all to ask yourselves a series of fairly straight forward questions. I want you to take a look at you’re, any hand and ask your selves “Who’s hand is this?” Do the same with your other hand, and now both legs and your arms if you would like.
