Guns have affected millions of people in the United States ever since the second amendment was put in place. With just a pull of a trigger you can affect someone’s life exponentially. There is a need for stronger gun control regulations and laws to ensure that these guns aren’t ending up in the wrong hands and costing peoples lives. I believe that regulating guns and closely monitoring who is obtaining these guns would benefit the problem of gun violence.

To purchase a handgun in New York State you need to carry a license to ensure that you had a background check. When you purchase a handgun you must have all owned handguns specified in your license.
