Persuasive Essay On Santa Fooling
Someone once said that it is possible to fool some of the people some of the time, but it is impossible to fool all of the people all of the time. For those who do not believe in Santa Claus, this saying should make them reconsider their doubts. Generations of children from across the world have been waking up to presents from Santa for what seems like forever. There have been countless Santa sightings, reindeer and sleigh tracks in the snow, and half-eaten cookies found on Christmas morning. The children know that it is Santa who has been responsible for these things. They cannot all be wrong. Santa is real.
Non-believers say that Santa is really just parents. They are wrong. Think about how unlikely it is that millions of children could be fooled by their parents so completely and without fail. Children are the most observant living things. They are endlessly curious and never satisfied with simple answers to their questions. They would naturally suspect that their parents were the ones leaving presents and cookie crumbs. It is true that some children do not wake up to a pile of presents surrounding their Christmas tree. Some do not even have a Christmas tree. However, this does not mean that Santa has not visited them. Every kid wakes up on Christmas morning knowing that a special day has arrived. He is cheered with the knowledge that December 25 is the birthday of Jesus Christ. More than anything else, this warm Christmas feeling is proof that Santa exists. To tell a secret, Santa is a spirit as much as he is a chubby old man in a red suit. He lives in all of us throughout the year, but most especially at Christmas.
