I would give my sisters a new and improved toy room. They would have a lot more room for all their toys. I would also give my mom a bigger kitchen, because she loves to bake. I would give the family more storage for all of our shoes and coats. Another reason I would give my family a big house is, so my mom would have space for her. She would have a huge luxury closet for just her clothes, shoes, and accessories. My mom would also have her own luxury bathroom, so she had a place for all of her stuff for

I would want my dad to spend a lot of time with him. I know my dad would want to go to lunch with my grandpa. They used to go to lunch together all the time. My dad would love to go fishing my grandpa just one last time. When he was younger my grandpa took him fishing all the time. I would bet that when my grandpa was back all my dad and him would do is talk politics. That’s how my dad started getting hooked on politics. Him and my grandpa would just non stop talk about the president, or how the government system was getting messed up it was pretty funny. One other reason I would give the family grandpa back is so he could talk to us one more time. My grandma never got to say good bye and I know that probably hurt a lot. So he would tell her goodbye first. Then we could tell him all the stuff he has missed over the years. One thing we could tell him is all the new jobs my dad has worked at, there are so many. I know my grandpa would want to visit the family to while he was here. My grandpa died before my sister was born, so he never got the chance to meet her. While my grandpa was gone my family got 3 new baby cousins. My aunts just had a baby girl. I know he would love to see her. My uncle Adam just got married. My grandpa never got to meet her or her

As I watch a high school sports event, I often wonder if people are actually betting real money on a simple game like this. I also then start to wonder if I would ever find myself betting on a sporting event. Very often, I see a commercial for a company like Fanduel, Sports Kings, or BetDSI and realize how massive of a brand that filtered sports betting is becoming. Since these websites are filtered and have very strict regulations placed on them by the government. For example, a member of these websites would have to be 18 or older, and can only place a certain amount of money on a certain amount of events. Sports betting gives people the feeling of being free, which is mostly why sports fans sign to these filtered gambling site. Even though…

Many people argue that internal factors within the Roman Empire caused it to fall were many social, economical, and political problems. One political problem was that the emperors and leaders became corrupt with power and wealth and then most soldiers in the army fended for themselves and didn't work together. The troops soon became pillagers targeting other citizens like them. “The troops became the enemy within; pillage and slaughter of fellow citizens was indiscriminate”(Santosuosso). The whole government and army was filled with leaders who wanted all of the money and power they could get their hands on. “Stopping one threat was not enough, for another would emerge; if that new threat was pushed back, another popped up elsewhere”(Santosuosso). The invasions of the Germanic and the Huns weakened the Roman army since they weren't very strong to begin with. The Germanic Tribes kept on fighting no matter how many times they were undaunted by defeats and hoping to lay hands on the rich spoils of the empire were continuous, but with low resources and a relentless war effort troops lost hope. Once the Roman army could no longer defend its own borders, the Germanic tribes began to invade and Roman provinces fell on after another. After Marius's reform which made it so that anyone with a Roman citizenship could join the army. This made more citizens to join, but they wanted immediate wealth, material goods and improve their condition, they chose to not to be loyal to the republic but to any leader who provided booty for them. Another factor would be the economical problems, the oppressive taxidation system caused farmers to abandon their farms because they couldn't find tenants to cultivate their land and their land was under tax burden, unable to make them a living. “The government tried to meet the demand by tying agricultural workers to their…

Online, physically, or verbally you can be a victim of being bullied. You don’t have to keep things as they are. The question is how to handle the situation (Do you attack the bully and become the bully yourself? Or do you ignore the bully and pretend all is well?) What you do is speak up and ask for help. I would know, because not only was I a victim, I was also a person who stood by and simply watched it happen.…

Due to the financial crisis there have been many changes made to government programs to reduce costs and help with debt. Many of these cuts are happening statewide, in America’s public schools. The first programs that are being cut are the art programs, and the excuse is that the core classes are more important. The argument is that children need to be more focused on test scores in Math, Science, English and History. It is unfair to single out art classes, there should be a more even spread of budget cuts, not just the sole elimination of the arts. There are parents who are indifferent with the arts and they are unfazed by their removal from elementary public schools. What many of these parents do not recognize is that there are actually benefits of the arts that help with core subjects. Some benefits are strengthening problem solving skills, stimulating critical thinking and helping developmental growth. There is also a duel component that shows that there is a direct correlation between SAT test scores and art programs in schools, as well as higher participation and attendance. It has also been shown that the arts can help boost the economy.…
