Personification In Highwayman

Hello there, would you like to learn about the poetic devices used in this poem The Highwayman. The poet's name is Alfred Noyes. The poem is about a robber and a spy that both liked a girl and they spy told the redcoats where he is going. Then the red coats used the woman as bait and she shot herself. I think in the poem is a masterpiece because it has a lot of poetic devices and really descriptive.

The poetic device rhyme is a common one this is a sentences from The Highwayman, The wind was torrent of darkness among the gusty trees. The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas. As you can see trees and seas rhyme so that is rhyme.
