Personal Narrative: The Lone Wolf
In the land of Chocolo, a lone wolf was raised with no home, family, or friends. The wolf was brave. He was ready to take on the world.
When a winter blizzard hit Chocolo, The Lone Wolf fled to the mountains. He scavenged for c-boo berries and dried nuts. He was also looking for something else besides food; he was looking for the Diamond of Ambers.

He followed the smell of brimstone, the distinct smell of dragons, through the mountains, rivers, plains, and even oceans. If you were wondering how he did that, well, he had some help from mountain goats, friendly river monsters, buffalo, and killer whales. Once he had faced the Seven Wonders of

We’d heard rumors about former wolf-girls who never adapted to their new culture. It was assumed that they were returned to our native country, the vanishing woods. We liked to speculate about this before bedtime, scaring ourselves with stories of catastrophic bliss. It was the disgrace, the failure that we all guiltily hoped for in our hard beds. Twitching with the shadow question: Whatever will become of me?…

This week all started when I first arrived at Atwood. My friends Ty, Alec, Evan, Joey, Carter, and my best friend Harambe (Yes, my best friend is a Silverback gorilla) are here as well. We are all transferring our abundant luggage with us into our full dorm rooms. We get settled and the first thing we do is eat lunch. After we went on a stinking 4 hour hike! It was terrible and my legs were fading. We then had dinner. The taste of the spaghetti filled my taste buds with satisfaction. After that we had a lesson about the Alpha Wolf.…

In chapter 12, the key event to me was when Claudia and Finn talked to each other through the keys. I felt many emotions when reading their interaction one of them being happy. I felt happy when they talked to each other because it was a turning point in the story in my opinion. I also felt surprised because at first, I thought by having two keys, there would be a lock that would need both keys to hear and speak to each other. I also felt confused by the way they conversed; How could they now hear each other but not before. I think by having one key being touched, the other key can hear because on page 153 Claudia says she breathed and rubbed on the key making it warm and on page 154 Finn says when he touches the key it's warm.I like the way the author wrote the scene from both perspectives, it gave us the readers a clearer understanding of how both Finn and Claudia felt. I also like how the author described the way both keys affect each other and have a "key" connection.…

The wolves, in this story, are shrouded in mystery. When they first enter the story, no one is quite sure what they are. Once the father realizes what they are, he immediately goes looking for them but then discovers something far worse than the wolves. They had taken his daughter’s life. The pack is uncontrollable and wild much as fate is. No one can decide exactly what will happen in their life, and no one can control a wild pack of wolves. In many ways, the wolves are likened to fate in the sense that they can take lives or even control them. Many people have a fear of wolves, the pack could end up destroying a village through terrorizing attacks when it has became so desperate. They are savage, vicious animals with nothing to control them but themselves.…

There has been many cases in which I have helped an outsider feel welcome. One time in particular is when I played tag with this little boy at church since he was new and no one else played with him. Originally, I was outside eating candy and talking to my friends at church. I noticed that this little boy was standing all alone watching all the other little kids play without him. I thought that maybe he was upset so I went over to him and asked if he wanted the rest of my gummy worms. He seemed nervous at first, but eventually he started talking to me. I learned that he was five years old and he was visiting his grandparents for the weekend. His older brother was outside playing basketball with some of the other older boys at the church, and…

Ever since I was born, I was a military brat. Not knowing where to call home, or if any place could be home, I moved. I moved six times, four of those places were towns that nobody could think about. Germany, North Carolina, Alaska, North Carolina, Germany, and Alaska, yet no place to call home. May 22, 1999, my first day on this world; Kronach hospital had its first American baby in their hands, yet they acted like I was a different species. The only event I remember was when I was about one. While I was one, I grabbed everything in my reach, even a grill handle. As a baby, I did not know that the handle was moving, the grill top had smashed my thumb. Ever since that event, I now have a starfish mark on the side of my right thumb from where the stiches were.…
