Day one:
I just got to a city in the middle of the Arabian Peninsula called Mecca. Right when I got there I spotted a large herd of camels. I learned about this man named Muhammad. He brought a different religion to the people at Arabia. He was born in Mecca around 570. His father died before he was born and his mother died when he was six. Muhammad was a “fortune teller” who had heard a message from god. God told him to spread the teachings of a new religion, Islam.
Day 4:
Today is the last day, I am leaving Mecca. But there's still one lesson… the five pillars of Islam. The five pillars are five acts that are worshiped and required by all the Muslims.the first pillar is saying “Their is not god but God, and Muhammad and his prophet”. The second one is praying five times a day, and the third one is to give to the poor and needy.The fourth one is to go without food or water during the holy month of Ramadan. The fifth one is to travel to Mecca at least once on a hajj
Overall it was very nice learning about all the different things about the Arabian peninsula. Just a few days in the Arabian Peninsula are very difficult. The climate changes everything, there's not much water which makes it a desert, Because it is so hot you will have to adapt in certain ways that will make you feel different.
