Personal Narrative: My Yearbook Team

For nine months out of the year, twelve hours a week, my main focus in life was photography. At school, the main photojournalist for the yearbook is me. Yearbook is basically an editorial for schools. In order for the team to create a successful product, we must communicate and work together. My yearbook team taught me the importance of time management and cooperation in order to do our jobs. The yearbook communities of schools must be diligent in order for a functional team and a successful book. The dictionary definition of a community is “a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals”, and I feel that the yearbook team is my community.
