Personal Narrative: My Trip To Phoenix Arizona

t was summer 2014 in Phoenix Arizona, just like every year I was visiting my mom’s side of the family. Early in the morning I woke up from the hard carpet right after Shaun, my brother. Gabe, Papa Doug, and Lola were the only ones out of bed once Shaun and I had walked down stairs.

Many hours hours the rest of our family members had woken up finally. Once they did Lola cooked eggs and rice for Shaun, Gabe, and I. My family had already planned to go on a walk to the park after we had eaten. This made the three of us quickly eat excited to walk the dogs to the park. After an hour and a half of waiting for our family to be ready we received the dogs’ leashes and started our walk. All of us laughed because of how Shaun and Gabe were having a hard time to control the Taffy and Cali. Paris was very calm when it came to walking her so I was just fine.

Later we were very close to the park and passed by many cacti being careful where we stepped. My parents were catching up with our aunts and uncles talking about what has been going on in their lives. In the middle of all of our conversations I heard a high pitched howl behind me. I turn around and noticed the small cactus on Cali’s paw while she whimpered in pain. My mom quickly grabbed my sweatshirt she had been holding and handed
We eventually had the idea to go swimming. I love swimming in Arizona because the water is not cold in and back at home we don’t have a pool. The things I don’t like is that we have to wait for an adult to watch us and in the daytime the ground is so hot with red ants crawling all over as we walk to the pool. Once we finished changing to our swimsuits we all rushed out the door into the warm dark night. Shaun immediately jumped into the turquoise water lit up from the one light at the bottom splashing my family. Gabe and I then put our towels on the closest chair to us and jumped after
