Personal Narrative: My Personal Professional Development

Originally, as seen in the annotated bibliography, (as seen in Appendix A) I planned to do a weekly plan of all the tasks that I had to complete that week (as seen in Figure two). However, I quickly realised, I did not flexibility with this approach, my weeks became extremely tedious and repetitive, which ultimately meant that I would not follow the plan. I instead developed the aforementioned daily plan which gave me more flexibility, as day by day, I could develop the plan in association with what needs to be done. As some mind numbing tasks have an effect on a person, it meant that I was also able to accommodate to what I was mentally able to do that day. I did however, maintain the colour scheme, and the layout of the original learning plan, which meant it was easy to see what types of tasks needed to be completed (as seen in figure one),
3. Professional Development
I have developed an abundance of skills, that I would not have learnt without the cooperative experience. Interning at VSA has allowed me the opportunity, to develop professionally, learning vital skills, that I can use in the next stages of my life. Gill is obligated to meet with MPs often, due to VSA being government funded. Thus, when Gill was invited to meet with the minister of Youth, Nikki Kaye, I was asked to join her. As VSA is a fairly casual work environment, yet going to Parliament meant that it was excepted for me to look professional. This included ironing my clothes, shinning my shoes, and acting in a professional manner.
