Personal Narrative: My Grandpa's Contribution During World War II

It’s hard for me to remember the stories about my grandpas being veterans. One of my great grandpa’s, my great grandpa James Trone, passed away before I was born. But my grandpa, his son, has told me about my great grandpa’s days as a veteran during World War II. My step great grandpa, Frankie Frederick, passed away when I was at an early age and he did not get to tell me about his days as a veteran. When I was at my grandparent’s house my grandma had pictures of my grandpas in their uniforms. I would ask her, “Why do they have those fancy uniforms on?”.
