Over the course of the semester I had the opportunity to work with the Battle family, as a courtesy I will use fictional names for my family .The Battle family consists of a total of five people: Roger Battle, the husband and father, Sarah Battle, the wife and mother, and their three daughters: Annie age 14, Willa age 6, and lastly their youngest daughter Olive Battle age 3 .The parents are both alums from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University as well as members of Greek organizations the mother is a member of the Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha and husband Roger is a member of the Mu Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi . Both are educators in the Guilford county area. Their oldest daughter Annie is currently a freshman at Dudley High-School and a participant on the junior varsity cheerleading team. Their younger daughters Willa and Olive participate in a variety of activities ballerina dance, powder puff cheerleading, as well as take piano lessons. The family is very active …show more content…
She currently keeping them very active, disciplines them when needed and providing a positive learning environment for them. Most learned aspect is just how tight of a unit they are as a family, her daughters have a overlap in activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays the mother made sure the younger daughters made it to practice on time but also made sure they left in a timely manner to catch her oldest daughter cheer on Thursday evenings so she has her priorities in check when it comes to juggling her daughters schedules. Least learned aspect would definitely be exactly who they are as I stated earlier the mother was very guarded we hardly talked during this experience and she did not provide me with enough one on one time with the girls to see what things they like to do and so
