Personal Narrative: My Dance Aesthetic
My personal aesthetic would be music. I enjoy all types of music, but my favorite would be progressive rock/metal. I love picking apart songs and instruments to understand the specific notes that are being highlighting. For entertainment, I prefer going to concerts, broadway shows, and the movies. My dance aesthetic would be ballet. I find the way they move and dance it’s extremely different than any other dance. I feel that it takes pure dedication and practice to obtain the skills that enables one to do ballet.
These three videos all have things in common which are dance, music, and expression. All dancers are going along with music, they tend to express the emotion of the music being played, and make certain notes more dramatic than others
