Players were sprinting down the aisles especially the number 1 player, he had that special talent in him. His name was Messi, the hardest working player on the pitch . Messi came from a small town from Argentina called Punta Alta. From only age 2 he started playing soccer. Now 12, Messi is already being scouted by colleges and professional teams. Coaches think of him as a natural. After the game Messi got a phone call from a team, a special team, a magnificent team, the team was Barcelona. He accepted it as quick as possible. His parents understood how much he loved soccer, and that this was a once in a life time opportunity. Even though it was across the world. Messi took the flight.. and once he got there he

To me, from where Pele came from to where he is nw is truly amazing. His family was rather poor while he was a kid. His father worked nonstop trying to bring in money for the family. This lack of money led to the discouragement of Pele playing soccer. Peles mother hated seeing her husband work so hard and the family struggle. This is why his mom denied Pele from playing soccer. Pele, of course, still continued to play the game he loved. Since the lack of money, his family did not support his choice. He was forced to play with very cheap items that were not even soccer balls. One of these items was grapefruit. A grapefruit is not even close to a soccer ball but Pele made it work. He also would get stuck using a sock filled with newspaper. Next, from where Pele was as a kid, to where he is now is impressive. It is truly inspirational to me and it should be for others. Pele grew up in a rough household. Often getting sick from poor nutrition. The reason his family was so poor is because of the great depression. The great depression ended in 1939. Peles family had 3 kids, Pele having 2 siblings. The great depression weakened Pele’s family financially. He now makes $30 million a year just off of the endorsements he has(Pele). This is what allows his to donate so often. Also, he has helped raise money for all types of charities. That amount he has raised is millions of dollars. One charity he…

Standing at just over 5 feet 6 inches tall , and with an age of just 24 , Lionel Messi is touted to be one of the greatest players of all time , maybe even the greatest . Maradonna famously termed him his ‘successor’ , and although Pele finds reasons not to call him the greatest of all time , its probably ‘cause he’d rather not give up his title to someone else.Human nature, you could say,but well,he’s going to have to agree sooner or later.Cristiano Ronaldo has it all.He has the stats, he has the ability, he has the strength. There is no doubt in the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has been grossly underestimated when it comes to comparisons with Messi.Messi cant head the ball like Ronaldo.Ronaldo can probably do everything that Messi can with his feet. But then what is it that Messi has that attracts every single person to the beautiful game? The fact that he lives for the game. Once he gets the ball , he will not leave it until he has done justice to his ability with the ball. All incredibly skilful players, Ronaldo , Nani , you name them, dive at the first opportunity presented to them .Lionel Messi never dives. If you’re wondering what I mean by ‘dive’, and I’m assuming you probably are , it is the practice of falling to the ground ,pretending to be injured, appealing for a foul, and then ,once the purpose is fulfilled, ending up running around the field without any hint of injury.Lionel Messi hardly ever does it . In fact he never does it . Messi is humble, probably the humblest ‘great’ of all time .After scoring seven goals in the past week, and being on the verge of becoming the all-time highest goalscorer of Barcelona, he still credits the club’s run of success,as well as his , to coach Pep Guardiola. Lionel Messi never dives. He plays fair. And when he does,he makes sure we all know , that he was born to play this game .…
