Personal Narrative: Girls On The Run
If you don't know this already about me I love a couple things:
#1. Kids
#2. Working out
#3. Adrenline and doing some crazy things.

So why not put all those three things together and sign up to run the Chicago Marathon?! I'm fundraising $1,500 for Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grade. This program teaches life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. Girls need the empowerment and self esteem to believe that whatever they set their mind to they can do it. I'm an example of that myself. All through elementary-high school I was the most unathletic girl I knew of. I decided in 2015 to sign up for a marathon.
