Personal Narrative: A Christmas Break
CHRISTMAS BREAK The beginning of Christmas break was awesome. We had a relaxing day and after school, Ella, Taylor, Seamus, Motse, Christina, and I went into to courtyard and gave each other our secret santa gifts. Seamus was my secret santa and I was Motse’s but I gave presents to everyone. I also got awesome Christmas presents from Kaitlyn and Weronika. From them I got two steven universe tee shirts, a steven universe beanie, a marcelline statue, another beanie, lipsticks, and an iTunes gift card. After that I hung out with Ella and we watched Steven Universe. The next day I woke up at 5 am for my first volleyball tournament, we did pretty bad but it was a learning experience. We only won one set. I finished my Christmas shopping online

The feel of 80 degree temperature, the sound of splashing water, and a super long car ride? Everything but the car ride was awesome! On my spring break this year we took a very long and boring car trip down to Arizona. It was a 18+ hour car trip just going there! I mostly slept and read the way there. First, we visited Arizona state and Arizona University. Then, we stayed at my Grandma and Grandpa’s house. But, what I mostly liked about my spring break was in Arizona there was 80-90 degree temperatures!…

There has been many cases in which I have helped an outsider feel welcome. One time in particular is when I played tag with this little boy at church since he was new and no one else played with him. Originally, I was outside eating candy and talking to my friends at church. I noticed that this little boy was standing all alone watching all the other little kids play without him. I thought that maybe he was upset so I went over to him and asked if he wanted the rest of my gummy worms. He seemed nervous at first, but eventually he started talking to me. I learned that he was five years old and he was visiting his grandparents for the weekend. His older brother was outside playing basketball with some of the other older boys at the church, and…
