Personal Narrative: A Career In Criminal Justice
Having completed my first year in criminal justice and public policy, my future aspirations are more transparent as I have been exposed to the justice system of practices and institutions in the government. In my younger years I was always fixated with crime related shows; including CSI, criminal minds, columbo and many others. Determination is one of the many characteristics the detectives replicate- this enabled them never to give up which is a key attribute to solving a problem, and getting the job done to the best of their ability. Witnessing this has helped the determination in me grow, as i have learned to never give up, situations may arise unexpectedly- nonetheless I still have a task to complete.     I started my first year of college with my life all planned out. I had this ridicules idea that everything was going to be a piece of cake.
