Personal Narrative: A Career As A Music Producer
"The job salary for a music producer is peanuts to caviar." I want to be music producer because I love music. Music is what makes me how I am and it’s my life. If I were to become a music producer, then I would need about 4 years of college, earn a salary between 98,880 -162,000, and have several skills that I can apply to my career.

I would work 5 days a week at 60$ and the hours vary. I believe people get paid the amount because, they are good at what they do and they are discovered by multiple people. If I got paid as much as somebody like Lex Luger, I would make sure my family is living comfortable. I think the money wouldn't change me I think it would change the things around me. I would need the best knowledge of Music producing

A time I wish I had spoke up as a leader was a couple of months ago when a past concert band member wanted to be apart of marching band. This individual had not attended band camp, which is a requirement if you want to be in marching band. The individual had family issues which prevented him from attending. Once school started he went to the first football with us and played the show music during class. I thought there would be an exception due to his circumstances of not being able to attend. Later I found out that leadership and our band director would decide whether or not he would be included in our show. His drill spot had been written, now it was just if he was committed and be able to. I thought he deserved a chance, so I wanted to help him. I figured our band director would too. But at the same time, our…

My love for music began in middle school. At that time, I was socially awkward with very few friends. To compensate, I buried myself in music. My dedication led to many honors and admiration from my peers. However, when I got to high school, my relationship with music fundamentally changed. The arrival of an overly demanding teacher coupled with a long episode of depression robbed me of my passion to play. As time progressed, the pain I felt became too much to bear, and I became desperate for an outlet in which I could express myself positively. My quest led me to music once more, but classical was no longer the genre of choice. It was in hip hop and rap music that I found the will to overcome mental illness.…

This was my first time in the McCray hall theater, the organ is a very nice addition to the hall the gold leaf was a perfect choice. The general attire of the audience was casual among the younger attendees where the older attendees were more formal where I wore kaki cargos and a black french cuffed shirt. there were a lot of ties stock button ups was the main shirt worn, very few informal outfits that evening. The age range of the audience was possibly around age 15 to age 80 give or take a few years, most of the people who showed up were college students though the rest was made up, of about 16 or so, elderly couples.…

As a humans we all have to experience certain situations in life, in order to figure out what we like and dislike. I can honestly say I’ve had my fair share of situations. I started working at Samsung call center as a full time employee. The job had excellent benefits, and room for growth and advancement. While I was working there I thought it was what I wanted, but as time progressed I realized it may not be for me. I had been out of school for 2 years when I accepted this job, so I wasn’t quite sure as to what career path I wanted to take. The amounts of hours needed is based on how much they would need to work! You have to be able to stand out and get clients to keep a good reputation in this business (Torres and Citlali). The one thing I would enjoy about this job is that I would get to travel to certain places that have the application of a talent director needed. “The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that in May 2014 the average yearly salary for agents and business managers of artists, performers and athletes was about $97,000.” (Torres and Citlali). This salary would also depend if they work a ton or not at all, since they get to choose their own work hours. In this career I could make or break someone and it could be their rise to fame or their last…
